Interesting and unusual silvered gothic carriage clock timepiece, the 2.25" hexagonal chapter ring enclosing a foliate pierced centre over a relief panel depicting a religious scene with a seated angel and lady praying, the sides cast with twelve roundels depicting figures representing the agricultural months, the back with locking hinge door opening to reveal the movement with platform escapement, over a relief panel with figures seated by a gothic pedestal, surmounted by a pierced top section with hinged handle formed with griffins, 7.5" high *This clock is probably by Alexis Falize and is stamped to the base AF within a lozenge and inscribed Depose. For a carved ivory and enamel clock of similar design by Falize see Purcell, K., "Falize: A Dynasty of Jewellers" (Thames & Hudson: 1999), P.71.

Gerry Anderson: Terrahawks, Original costume design, acrylic on card, annotations in pencil, include Show drawing to Gerry before colouring, signed in ink lower right by Peter K. Holmes, 17 x 14 ½ inches.Provenance: The Collection of British puppeteer, Christine Glanville (1924-1999). Glanville's long collaboration with Gerry Anderson began in 1956 as a puppet operator on the Twizzle And Torchy TV. series. She went on to design, sculpt and operate many leading characters including Four Feather Falls, Supercar, Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons, Terrahawks and Andersons unscreenedSpace Policepilot episode.Glanville secured the stage rights to Rupert Bear from the Daily Express in the 1970s and formed The Stage Three Company with fellow Century 21 puppeteers, Rowena White and David Ross.Glanville was a grandniece of Robert Peel Glanville Blatchford (1851-1943) socialist campaigner, journalist, and author, and her grandfather was Punch cartoonist, Montagu Blatchford.Condition Report: small pin holes to top corners, overall good condition with strong colour.
