Antique diamond ring with an old cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.90cts in gold gypsy style rub-over setting. The diamond measures approximately 8.2mm x 8.0mm x 4.75mm. The measurements can only be estimated due to the setting. The stone is a lively bright stone with no obvious inclusions when viewed with a loupe. The edge of the stone can not be examined and the colour is difficult to estimate due to the gold setting, it appears to draw slight colour and probably L-N range. The clarity appears to be very good. The shank has sizing beads so is difficult to measure the size but it fits a finger size approximately J-K, the shank is split at the base and would need soldering. Gross weight 7.17 grams.
Antique diamond five stone ring with five graduated old cut diamonds in platinum claw setting on 18ct yellow gold shank. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.25cts.
