dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: France, Curved, single-and false-edged blade, with large fuller (various pitting), remains of three stamps at the base, one 'L'-shaped, one with 'K' under a star and one not clearly readable; the back with inscription '... Imp.ale de Klingenthal Mai 1813'. Bronze hilt with langets, guard with remains of stamps and with two, lateral loop-guards. Grip with old leather covering (parts missing). Long, smooth cap. Iron scabbard with two lugs, knuckle guard with traces of stamps. length 100,7 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 20th Century provenance: Germany, Nice, single-edged blade, richly and finely engraved with hunting and floral motifs, tang marked 'W K & C' with stamps. Brass, gilded hilt, grip with ivory grip scales. Complete with leather scabbard with brass, gilded mounts. The gilding is partially abraded. length 48.5 cm.
