UK original Final Artwork commissioned by the BBC to celebrate the re-launch of Doctor Who in 1992/93 for the 30th anniversary. This painted Artwork was used for various products in the launch including press packs, synopses and posters. The design features various protagonists of the Doctor including a Dalek, K-9, a Cyberman and Davros with the iconic Tardis in the centre. A 1933 Austin 7 box saloon, registration number WV 4333, chassis number B8-8397, engine number 184791, maroon over black. This charming box saloon has continuous owner history from new. In fact the Austin remained in Wiltshire around the Chippenham area until purchased by our vendor a Dorset Austin 7 enthusiast. The car was originally supplied by Fore Street Garage, Trowbridge, Wiltshire to the first owner a Mr K Preeze and there have been six further custodians prior to our vendor. The 7 was restored by the well-respected Austin 7 specialist Austineers of Bradford-on-Avon for a previous owner a Professor Ron George approximately ten years ago and still presents well today. The 7 has had several recorded colour changes over the years, starting originally in grey, then green and black, blue and black and is now finished in maroon over black with a blue interior and black wire wheels. The impressive history file is fascinating containing newspaper articles featuring the car, no fewer than four RF60s showing its owner history, numerous receipts, photographs of previous owners with the car, previous tax discs and MOTs. Now reluctantly for sale due to a change in circumstances this box saloon is ready to be enjoyed. A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Ox-horn Drenching Horn with closed pointed end 8¾ in (22.6 cm) in length. A larger example with open pointed end and contemporary branded initials 'T + K', 13¾ in (35.5 cm), both with drilled pointed ends together with an interesting 18th/19th century sounding horn type object, the wide end with a fixed wooden cap, the tapered end open, the body with two holes and decorated with two bands of brass and copper studs and having two iron suspension loops (one sawn off), ancient patination to the horn and end cap , 15¾ in (40 cm) long along the outer curvature.
