Michael Cardew CBE (British 1901 - 1983), a pottery dish for Kingwood pottery,c.1948, impressed 'K' mark to base, In terracotta, with polychrome slip painted design,23.8cm long (ARR)Minor scuffing to the bottom rim, and minor glaze pitting, otherwise in good condition with no breaks or restoration. Michael Cardew only worked at the Kingwood pottery for a short time - 1948-1949.
