Rickards K.C.B. President of the Council of Administration of the Aidin [sic] Railway Company, indistinctly signed and dated 1306 [1888] and further inscribed The Order of Osmanie was founded in 1861 by Abdulaziz, Emperor of the Turks and has five classes - it is conferred for all kinds of ... and services, the outer envelope with remnants of red wax seal and inscribed Diploma of the Sultan of Turkey conferring the order of the Osmanie (2nd to ND class) on Sir George Kettlaby [sic] Rickards K.C.B. The badge 10 cm including crescent and star suspension loop x 6.5 cm, the Star 8 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear.
