A 19th century Second Class Order of Omanieh Typically worked in green and red enamels; together with a Star of the Order, similarly worked, the verso with Ottoman mint mark, cased; together with an Imperial Berat and envelope and a further envelope inscribed Imperial "Berat" conferring the most noble Order of the Osmanie of 2nd Class on Sir George K. Rickards K.C.B. President of the Council of Administration of the Aidin [sic] Railway Company, indistinctly signed and dated 1306 [1888] and further inscribed The Order of Osmanie was founded in 1861 by Abdulaziz, Emperor of the Turks and has five classes - it is conferred for all kinds of ... and services, the outer envelope with remnants of red wax seal and inscribed Diploma of the Sultan of Turkey conferring the order of the Osmanie (2nd to ND class) on Sir George Kettlaby [sic] Rickards K.C.B. The badge 10 cm including crescent and star suspension loop x 6.5 cm, the Star 8 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear.

35th Anniversary of the Arrival of the Surrendered Italian Fleet at Malta official navy cover. RNSC(2)14. Signed by Obersleutnant Bernhard Jope, Knights cross with oak leaves. Commander of the German Raid on the Italian fleet when it went to surrender on 9th September 1943. The battleship “Roma” was hit by 2 Fritz-x gliding bombs and sunk the aircraft were DO217 K-2’s of KG100 stationed at “Istres” in Southern France. Good condition
Three crates containing a collection of vintage wooden and other jigsaw puzzles, to include a "Great Northern Puzzle" by E Wolff & Son, Manufacturers London, featuring miniature turntable, wooden railway engine and featuring the advertisement "Use Wolffs Pencils Spanish Graphite", a GWR jigsaw puzzle "Historic Totnes", together with a wicker basket containing jigsaws, J K Straus "Over the hedge", depicting a hunting scene, "The House of Lords", housed in wooden box, a "The Raco Intalok Deluxe Zig Zag Puzzle", depicting the Lord Mayor's Show, etc CONDITION REPORTS All in used and worn condition, and with some damage and losses. Some are not in original boxes, and those with original boxes have some damage to the boxes, sellotaped repairs, etc. It is not known whether or not any of the items are complete - and many boxes contain handwritten notes indicating that pieces are missing.
