A late 17th/early 18th century Dutch Delft blue and white jar and cover, the ovoid body painted with four panels of deer below foliate vignettes on a diamond diaper ground on the ribbed shoulders, the cover with Buddhist lion finial, its surprised facial details picked out in red, A J K monogram, possibly for a member or the Kocx family, 53cm (21 in) high (2) (D) The cover finial has been off and restored back together with corners of the octagonal lid.
