It is believed to be old stones, re-set in the mid 20th century. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion it would test as gold. The ring is in good condition. The shank is stamped '18CT' and 'PLAT' and in our opinion it would test as platinum settings on a gold shank. The diamonds measure; 4.80mm x 4.56mm x 3.28mm = 0.50ct, 6.21mm x 5.84mm x 3.09mm = 0.78ct, 4.78mm x 4.81mm x 3.14mm = 0.50ct. An Art Deco Diamond Jabot Pin, by Cartier, the arrow head formed of a pear cut diamond in a pierced surround to a border of a baguette cut and round brilliant cut diamonds in white claw settings, on a plain pin, with a diamond set stopper, total diamond weight 3.50 carat approximately, measures 5.4cm by 2.1cm, in a pink Cartier case Provenance: Tennants Auctioneers 2009 This is in good condition. The pear cut diamond is held to the outer frame by four claws - two of which are no longer joined to the frame. It bears no hallmark, but in our opinion it would test as platinum. The reverse of the stopper is marked with an indistinct letter - possibly J or T, and slightly obliterated numbers which seem to be 581. The pear cut diamond measures 9.7mm x 5.6mm x 3.7mm = 1.20ct approximately. The approximate colour is K/L, and clarity VS1/VS2. The approximate qualities of the residual diamonds are; colour G/H/I, clarity VS1/VS2/SI1. Gross weight 6.2 grams. CR made 1st June 2015
A Cultured Pearl Necklace, seventy-three graduated cultured pearls knotted to a cultured pearl and diamond cluster clasp, length 46.5cm. . The necklace is in good condition. It may be advisable to re-string the pearls as it is not known for how long they have been on this string. The clasp has a tongue and box mechanisim and the necklace is also fitted with a safety chain. The catch bears no hallmark nor stamps. The pearls graduate from 4.5mm to 8.0mm approximately. A Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Pendant, an oval mixed cut sapphire within a border of round brilliant cut diamonds, in yellow claw settings on a plain polished pendant loop, total estimated diamond weight 0.35 carat approximately, measures 1.1cm by 2cm, on a fancy link chain, length 51cm The necklace is in good condition. It fastens with a bolt ring catch. The pendant has a little wear to the sides of the pendant loop where it has moved against the chain.
