A Swiss chronograph, 17 rubis, with subsidiary dials, the case stamped "18 K" (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This watch is in generally good condition. It winds and is currently ticking away as it should. The stopwatch mechanism operates correctly. The glass has very minor surface scratches. The dial is in very good order. The case is in very good condition also. The winding crown and stopwatch buttons have lost their original plating.
An Elgin Watch Co. full Hunter pocket watch, with foliate engraved case, knob wind, the case stamped "14 K" and with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The case is in very good condition with no issues. The dial has three hairline cracks, two between the numerals 7 and 8 and one just opposite the 20 on the subsidiary seconds dial. There is a further crack which is elliptical above the numeral 11. The clock is not currently ticking. The main spring appears to be damaged. The movement is an Elgin Watch Company movement Serial No. 5139456.
Great War Steel Helmet Attributed to Captain K G Menzies MC Welsh Guards late 2nd Life Guards, 2nd pattern steel helmet with rimed edge. Retaining much of its original paint finish to the exterior. White painted insignia of the Welsh Guards to the front centre of the helmet. Complete with its original leather chinstrap but missing the oil skin part of the liner. Helmet has the initials KGM to the inside. ** Keith Graham Menzies served with the 2nd Life Guards as a 2nd Lieutenant in France and Flanders from 8th October 1914. He later transferred to the Welsh Guards and rose to the rank of Captain. He was awarded the Military Cross (MC) for gallantry in WW1, the citation for the award appeared in the London Gazette 26th July 1918, For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. When the troops on the flank were seen to be retiring, he took a message through an intense barrage, to warn the supporting companies. In subsequent operations he has displayed great courage and initiative.
WW2 Polish 5th Kresowa Division Badge, white metal with enamel centre and central brass bull. 5 K P D to each arm of the Maltese cross and 8th army badge to the bottom. Badge has screw back fitting on reverse with brass backing dish, having F M LORIOLI MILANO ROMA makers mark. Badge remains in good condition.

Lofthouse
