A pair of Scottish Provincial silver sugar tongs by Robert Keay & Son, Perth, circa 1825 (working 1825/1839), (double-headed eagle, "R & R K", double-headed eagle) with shell grips, the top of bow crisply engraved with crest coronet of an upright arm clasping aloft a scimitar, issuing from a baron's coronet (in the Scottish peerage a baron is a Lord of Parliament), 14.7 cm. long, wt. 58 gm.In fine condition, virtually as new with crisp marks and engraving.

To be used as a guide only. Slight chipping and hair cracking to either tip of the shell. Lid having difficulty fully closing.
