Wilhelm Trübner: Heidelberg 1851 - 1917 Karlsruhe. Deutscher Landschafts-, Porträt- und Historienmaler sowie Kunsttheoretiker. Nach seiner Studienzeit in Karlsruhe und München tätig vor allem in München, Karlsruhe und Frankfurt/Main. Freundschaft zu Carl Schuch, Kontakt zu Wilhelm Leibl und dessen Kreis. 1874/5 einjähriger Militärdienst, 1889 Teilnahme an der Weltausstellung in Paris sowie 1893 in Chicago, in den 1890er Jahren weitere Erfolge. Regelmäßige erfolgreiche Ausstellungen in Berlin, vor allem in der Galerie Fritz Gurlitt. 1896 Umzug nach Frankfurt, dort Anstellung am Städel´schen Kunstinstitut und Gründung einer eigenen Malerschule. 1902 Gründungsmitglied des Frankfurter Kronberger Künstlerbundes. Berufung an die Karlsruher Kunstakademie 1903, er wird Gründungsmitglied des deutschen Künstlerbundes und Mitglied der Berliner Secession. Bis zu seinem Tod 1917 zahlreiche Ausstellungen, gilt er als renommierter Künstler an der Schwelle zwischen Naturalismus und deutschem Impressionismus. Motiv: Vom Licht der Herbstsonne beschienene Parklandschaft, vermutlich in Stift Neuburg, mit teilweise gefärbtem Herbstlaub einer Baumgruppe an einem sich gabelndem Weg. Blickführung in Richtung eines jenseits der Heckenbegrenzung des Parks gelegenen Hügels mit Weinbergen. Durch die beschnittenen Baumkronen betont Trübner den scheinbar willkürlichen Blick auf ein Landschaftssegment. Wohl um 1900/1913, eventuell Park Stift Neuburg / Heidelberg. Öl auf Leinwand, unten links signiert „W. Trübner“, ca. 62 x 76 cm (mit Rahmen: ca. 72 x 86 cm), rückseitig auf dem Keilrahmen handschriftlich bezeichnet „Trübner / Park Landschaft“. In kleinem runden Stempel auf dem Keilrahmen die Ziffern „II 50“. Partiell minimale Farbabplatzungen, teils Altersspuren, unrestaurierter Originalzustand. A set of 12 early 20th century fine Coalport porcelain dessert plates; each with raised beaded gilded border and hand-decorated vignettes of floral sprays flanked by blue ground, each also with gilded initial K to the centre (some plates with wall-hanging adhesive plate hangers, one plate with crack across centre) (23cm wide)Condition Report: It is noted on some plates there is minor gilt rubbing mostly to the insides of the gilding at the centre where the gilding meets the blue cobalt panel reserve. Some minor knife marks noted on middle of some plates. Some plates have adhesive plate hangers to the back. Plates appear quite dirty and grubby to the underside but easily remedied. One plate has prevalent glaze crazing mostly confined to the centre, one plate has a large approx. 16cm crack running across the middle and through the initial 'K' which is seen both from the front and the underside. One plate has a 6cm/7cm crack mostly visible from the underside and running from the edge of the plate into the foot rim. Otherwise in general good overall original condition.

~ A Regency Diamond Mourning Brooch, the central oval locket compartment containing hairwork within a double border formed of rose cut and old cut diamonds, total estimated diamond weight 1.50 carat approximately, length 3.4cm . The brooch is in fair condition, the locket compartment is worn and there is a repair to the revers which covers en engraving. It fastens with a pin and hook catch and features a safety chain.
