K B Kindermann Junkers Chief Test Pilot. Flug Kaptain Kindermann was born in Breslau Germany. In 1925 he joined Junkers as Chief Test Pilot and in the early 1930s was seconded to the Colombian Air Force. He also served on the Wahoo, as executive officer and approach officer. He participated in more successful attacks on Japanese shipping than any other submarine officer during the war. His partner, Constable Terry McFall, won the George Cross for the same action. They were on patrol when they were ordered to chase a car driving the wrong way down a one way street. Fifteen shots were fired at their police car during the ensuing chase. The criminals' car crashed into a lorry and they attacked the police officers, who were trying to arrest them. dating: 1849 provenance: Germany, Slightly curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller, engraved at the base with an anchor and a double eagle without crown on the opposite side, tang marked 'S&K' (Schnitzler & Kirschbaum) and '1849' on the other side. Typical black lacquered iron hilt. Leather scabbard with brass hilts, cap marked 'S&K' and with mark. Restored chape. Very scarce. This very scarce cutlass was produced in only 1270 pieces. length 81 cm.

Signed 'L&K' at the base. Iron hilt with flat guard, provided with two quillons ending in a curl around the quillon. Smooth, mushroom-shaped, iron cap. Wooden grip with copper wire binding. Black, leather scabbard with iron mounts and one ring. Jean Toussaint Arrighi de Casanova (1778 – 1853) was a french politician, a General during the Egypt, Marengo and Austerlitz expeditions. He was the Duke of Padoa, then he became deputy and senator. He was Napoleon's cousin. length 95 cm.

Beautiful, gilded, brass hilt, shell-guard with coat-of-arms among crowned lilies and horns of plenty and floral motifs, quillon block marked 'L', loop-guard decorated with lilies and floral motifs, pommel with a lion's head. Wooden grip with mother-of-pearl grip scales. Leather scabbard with brass mounts, decorated en suite. Scarce. length 96 cm.
