Body approximately 3.5mm wide, width of the coiled body from head across to the tail is 16mm wide. Ring size difficult to estimate precisely, probably J / K. Marks and signature are clear to read. Provenance: The vendor inherited this ring a few years ago and has shown it to Cartier, London, who were very happy with the authenticity of this piece. A 1981 Triumph TR7 V8 convertible, registration number KON 936W, Bordeaux red. This TR7 convertible has been uprated with a Rover 3.5 litre V8 engine. The conversion was carried out in March 1990, utilizing a S&S Preparations conversion. The TR7 was acquired by the vendor in 1999 and during his ownership has been the subject of a body rebuild in 2007, incorporating new front wings and door skins, and a full respray in the original Bordeaux red. Further improvements include the fitting of Ford Capri 2.8 litre front brake calipers, electronic ignition, Rover five speed gearbox with layshaft modifications, K&N air filters, and reconditioned steering rack. The interior is finished in tan vinyl and check cloth which complements the Bordeaux red coachwork. The weather gear consists of a replacement Don hood which was fitted by Larry Piper, a full factory tonneau cover and hood cover. The TR7 is offered for auction with a history file containing photographs of the body restoration, receipts, past MOTs, workshop manuals, hand written notes on the conversion and some spares, including a distributor.
