An important WWI period photograph album, containing twenty-three fine albumen photos of submarines, each with printed label giving technical details, incl. type, overall length, number built, engine bhp, speed on surface and submerged, etc., image size 25 x 33 cm., orig. black morocco, slightly scratched, oblong 4to the first photograph shows a display of six scale models of submarines, followed by seventeen photographs of submarines at sea or in dock, plus one photograph of a submarine being lifted by a 150 tons crane, a view of a 600 bhp submarine engine and one interior view. The submarines comprise Hollands class, and A, B, C, D, E, G, H, K, L, M, N, O (Australian and British), P, R & V class submarines. -1
