With Christmas luncheon; an aperitif of Gonzalez Byass Tio Pepe (that naughty but nice little fino muy seco from Jerez) or a sip of Dubonnet (delicatley flavoured as it is with spices and hints of quinine); followed by numerous bottles and half bottles of deelightfull wines from around the globe. As the evening draws in warm up with the bottle of GlŸhwein (with the old NAAFI price sticker of DM 2.65 still adhering); before finally attacking the Bull’s Blood the Pineau des Charentes and the Green Chartreuse. All in all the complete ingredients for a good Christmas day’s drinking from dawn ‘till dusk. Who cares about bird flu? Who needs a Turkey? [Or is this it?] 24 assorted bottles half bottles and THE Magnum.
