A Small Queen Anne Oyster Veneered Lace Box. The hinged rectangular lid centred by a small round inset plaque engraved with initials and surrounded by radial panels of oyster-figured laburnum veneer enhanced with curve-linear stringing, in a cross-banded border and moulded edge. The partitioned interior lined in painted paper, 3 ins (8 cms) high,k 11 ins (28 cms) wide and 8 1/2 ins (22 cms) deep.

A good pair of Meissen figural Season groups, after the models by J.J. KŠndler, depicting Summer and Autumn, each modelled with Classical figures seated on billowing rococo clouds, supporting a plaque painted with figures on horseback, raised on shaped bases applied with flowers and grapes, crossed swords marks.
