A Chinese Leopard rank badge for a military official third rank, 19th century, the leopard against a background of scrolling lotus surrounded by clouds and bats over li-shui waves and earth mountains, K`ossu, woven with some gold couching. 30x30cm together with a pair of peacock rank badges, the peacocks standing on a rock surrounded by clouds, bats and auspicious emblems 28.5x31cm and a Chinese rank badge depicting a pheasant flying amidst clouds and auspicious emblems. 28x30cm. An important Chinese Emperor`s Dark Blue Kesi Kun-Fu, (coat or robe) 19th century, with four gold dragon medallions in silk K`o-ssu containing respectively, the sun, moon, stars and mountain symbols. Purportedly may have been worn by the Empress Dowager according to the provenance. The Chinese embroidered sleeve bands and the borders with ju-i head-scrolls were probably added after 1911. 1969 Australia “Baggy Green” Cricket Cap. 1969 Australia Cricket "Baggy Green" International cap and signed team sheet - issued to Keith Stackpole from the 1969/70 tour to South Africa made by Australian Manufacture Co, c/w embroidered National Crest and inscribed 1969 below together with the interior makers label and separate cotton tab signed in ink "K Stackpole" – (VG) Note this was last team to tour to South Africa following the ban on Apartheid by World Sports Councils in 1970. Note: Keith Raymond Stackpole (b.10 July 1940) is a former Victorian and Australian cricketer who played in 43 Tests and 6 ODIs from 1966 to 1974, He made his Test debut against England in the Fourth Test in Adelaide in 1965-66, Against England in 1970-71 he was the main Australian run maker with 627 runs (52.25) On the Ashes tour of England in 1972 he was Ian Chappells vice-captain and made 485 runs (52.88), topping the Australian batting averages for the second series in a row and being named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1973.
