G. 65 ; M., K., J. 47 A., Très belle épreuve tirée sur japon pelure et soigneusement doublée sur vélin portant, la décharge d’une autre épreuve au verso, les figures tournées vers la gauche et la, signature gravée apparaissant à l’endroit, numérotée « 23 » à la mine de plomb dans, l’espace évidé à gauche des pieds de la femme debout. Très légères traces de frottement, en surface. Bords du feuillet irréguliers, l’angle inférieur droit coupé à l’oblique (comme, fréquemment). Tirage à environ 30 épreuves. Épreuve citée par Mongan, Kornfeld et, Joachim.

Très belle épreuve sur papier exotique chamois,, du 1er état (sur trois selon Mongan, Kornfeld et Joachim), avant champlevage autour, du mot « Tahiti » dans l’angle inférieur gauche, avec légère reprise à l’aquarelle rose, dans la partie supérieure du sujet, signée « P. Go. » à l’encre dans le cartel en bas à, droite. La fente verticale très visible dans le bois comme à l’ordinaire. Filets de marges., Provenance : ancienne collection Vollard., Voir la reproduction, Cette épreuve est citée par les catalographes comme étant une épreuve du 1er état. En réalité, elle constitue, plutôt un état intermédiaire entre le 1er et le 2e, avant les travaux de champlevage autour du mot «Taiti »,, mais déjà avec l’évidement entre la tête et la poitrine du renard. Le sujet est toujours tiré tête-bêche avec, un autre, Mahana atua, qui figure gravé en sens inverse sur le même bloc. Les deux sujets sont ensuite, séparés en deux feuillets après impression. Le bloc de bois est aujourd’hui conservé dans les collections, de la National Gallery of Art of Washington (ancienne collection Rosenwald).

Wearing a white cotton petticoat; floral cotton dress and underwear with brown leatherette shoes. Damages and cracks to the head both to the face and to the back; 2nd finger missing on right hand; general wear and tear to body; needs re-stringing. Together with two small Japanese composition head dolls both with composition bent limb bodies, 8in., 20cm. and 7in.18cm. tall; an English teddy bear, worn, eyes missing etc.; a soft ‘Golly’ doll with integral striped trousers; And a small collection of doll’s clothes. Sold as a collection with all faults, not subject to return.

1957 FA Cup Final Linesman 9ct Gold Football Association and Silver Referee`s Association Medal: Played at Wembley Aston Villa v Manchester United (Busby Babes) Both Medals named to K G Aston Linesman (9ct Medal 11g) (2) Note: The 1957 FA Cup Final was a football match played on 4 May 1957 at Wembley Stadium. The match was contested by Aston Villa and Manchester United. Villa won 2–1, with both of their goals scored by Peter McParland. Tommy Taylor got United`s goal. The final was marred by a collision after only six minutes between Villa forward Peter McParland and United goalkeeper Ray Wood, which left Wood unconscious with a broken cheekbone. Wood left the pitch and Jackie Blanchflower took over in goal for United. Wood eventually rejoined the game in an outfield position as a virtual passenger before returning to goal for the last seven minutes of the game. It was Villa`s first major trophy for 37 years.
