T.L.S., Indira Gandhi, one page, small 4to, New Delhi, 2nd January 1977, to Frank Harcourt-Munning, on the printed stationery of the Prime Minister's House. Gandhi writes 'I am so glad that you were able to accompany Frida Laski to the presentation. She is a fine human being and a good friend of India and our family. We wish her well.' Together with a small selection of printed ephemera etc., relating to India including printed 8vo menu for the 89th Birthday Anniversary Celebrations of the late Jawaharlal Nehru at the Connaught Rooms, London, 13th November 1978, a printed 4to brochure for the arrangements organised by the United Kingdom Committee commemorating the centenary of the birth of M. Official menu for the Dinner held at The Cricketers Club of New South Wales on the 9th July 1971. This was Ray Robinson’s copy with name printed to front cover. Decorative front cover, with Menu and Toasts to inside pages and printed photographs of the two teams, 1918-1920 and 1945-46, to rear cover. The photographs have been signed by some of the surviving cricketers. The Imperial team signatures are C.Docker, J.M. Gregory, A.W. Lampard, C.E. Pellew, W.A. Oldfield and W.L.
