Leica Rangefinder Bodies: three Leica bodies, serial nos. 207484 / 351012 / 971934, with various engravings including 'M Artl.', 'Betriebs. K. Nr.934*' and others (3) Lots 69 to 108 are all genuine factory products in our opinion. However, please note that we believe that all these pieces have, many years after the original date of manufacture, had spurious names and numbers engraved onto them. These lots are offered at values consistent with original equipment in damaged condition, as, in our opinion, the false inscriptions detract from the value of the original piece. Therefore buyers are asked to inspect these lots very carefully before bidding as they are sold ‘as found’ and are not subject to return. Please speak to a member of our Camera Department if you need further details or assistance regarding these lots.
