A pair of 18th Century Sèvres "Bleu Celeste" ice pails decorated with a panel of lovers in a garden with fruit and floral sprays verso, bears blue enamel mark to base, date marked for 1777 and bearing maker's mark "K" for Dodin, 19 cm diameter x 17.5 cm high excluding handles(Provenance: the property of the Raymond Barker family late of Fairford Park Gloucestershire) CONDITION REPORTS There is wear to the gilding, some scratching and chipping to the panels. Crazing visible to the insides, one pail has a large crack running through to the interior and has been restored at some point around the base and possibly to the top rim as well. There is a chip at the top of the crack and the base has been completely off which has led to the complete restoration. Both have signs of general wear - see images for further details. Both have obviously been used as plant pots rather than ice pails in their time. Gilding to handles very worn, one depicting two lovers with spaniel - basically in good order though some areas of wear to handles and other gilding conducive with age and use. Very dirty with crackalure to the interior suggesting water damage. The other depicting two lovers, he in red jacket, she seated - very damaged with large crack from top to bottom and cracked all the way around the bottom edge, restored but visible from the exterior in both cases.

A 19th century carved coral intaglio mounted gold ring, the intaglio depicting the head of a bearded man. Pierced foliate shoulders. Size M. An unusual gunmetal colour ring mounted with a small gold disc, size M. A George III gold ring, set with three coral and two turquoise cabochons to the closed-back mount. Size K. And a carved agate oval-shaped intaglio mounted gold ring, depicting the profile of a woman in the Classical manner. Size N1/2.
A diamond solitaire ring, the circular cut diamond weighs 2.55cts and is set with a baguette-shaped diamond to each shoulder in platinum. Size N. Accompanied by report number 5776-6528 dated 9th August 2016 from GCS, London stating that the old European cut diamond weighs 2.55cts and is a natural diamond with K colour and SI2 clarity and faint fluorescence.
