dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: France, Curved, single-and false-edged blade (pitting in the last segment), with double fuller, remains of finishing at the forte, engraved with small rinceaux and trophy with traces of gilding, marking 'S&K' at the base. Bronze hilt with large, circular shell-guard adorned with floral piercing, jointed to the guard with three loop-guards. Decorated with relieved palmette on parry side. Short, smooth cap, engraved with a cross on the back. Leather-covered grip with copper wire binding. Iron scabbard with two lugs, small drag. length 108 cm.
