NO RESERVE Rowling (J. K.) .- Dunn (Elisabeth) From Dole to Hollywood, 374 x 599mm, light uniform browning, a few light creases, The Daily Telegraph, 29th July 1997.⁂ The original article of J. K. Rowling's first ever interview with a national newspaper. Elisabeth Dunn of The Daily Telegraph met Rowling in the Edinburgh café in which she famously wrote The Philosopher's Stone while struggling financially and living on benefits. By the time of the interview, Rowling had published the first Harry Potter book and competition between film companies for the rights to the film was intense. Rowling is, however, still referred to in the article as Joanne; her global brand as 'J. K.' perhaps having not quote taken shape yet.
