Two George III Silver Wine-Coasters, One by Robert Hennell, London, 1779 and One by David Hennell, London, 1791, each shaped circular, on differing stepped bases, the sides with differing piercing, one with beaded border and one with reeded border, with turned wood bases, 12.5cm diameter (2)Each fully marked on lower rim. There is wear to the marks but each is just visible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wood bases appear to be original and each with some loss to the finish. With later baize covering on the bases.

There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some bruising to the cover of the inkwell and to the two handled cup. Some loss to the niello on the beaker. Some loss to the silver plate in places.

Modern screws visible beneath top. Some historic worm damage restricted to gallery beneath top, suggesting this may not be original.
