Markham (Gervase) The English house-wife, containing the inward and outward vertues which ought to be in a compleat woman, a few woodcut illustrations of wine gauge marks, piece torn from upper margin of title and repaired, S4 lower corner torn, affecting printed side-notes, some spotting and staining, lightly browned, antique style panelled calf, gilt spine in compartments, [formerly Wing M636; cf. Wing M683], small 4to, Printed for Hannah Sawbridge, at the Sign of the Bible on Ludgate-Hill, 1683.⁂ Usually found as part of Markham's A way to get wealth.
