Mayo /1787 Ja's Oakes Bury /1788 and Jn0 Bathe/1788 all with kick-in base. 23cm. to 28.5cm. 9in. to 11.25in. the last with repair to shoulder (4) The first two seals and the last appear to be unrecorded in the literature. James Oakes was said to be a wine-merchant at Bury St.Edmunds Suffolk and a number of bottles bear his name dating from 1735 to 1795.
