AN 18TH CENTURY ITALIAN BEAKER no maker's mark, standard mark "85" and town mark only for Grasse*, probably dating from 1740-1780, and a late 19th century French wine taster, inscribed "JpmRichard"; the beaker 2.6" (6.8 cms) high; 3.3 oz (2) Footnote *Grasse (Grassa) was part of the Kingdom of Italy & belonged to the Duke of Savoy from 1388 until it was united with France in 1792.
