An Ormolu Mounted Berlin Porcelain Pedestal Punch Bowl and Cover, circa 1860, of neo-classical design, the finial of the domed cover modelled as the infant Bacchus raising a glass of wine, the lid and bowl each painted with two scenes adapted from Hogarth's "Midnight Modern Conversation, Industry and Idleness, and Times of the Day", divided by painted bouquets beneath an osier moulded band, with angular shoulder handles linked by swags, guilloche pierced everted rim, the pedestal foot with indented angles, 46.3cm high.
