An early 18th century sealed magnum onion wine bottle, previously unrecorded: the dark green glass of generous globular form with raised tapering neck, string rim and shallow 'kick up', the shoulders applied with the seal of the Swete family, bearing two chevrons, between two mullets in chief with a rose at base, circa. 1710-20, 24 cm high. *Provenance The bottle comes by direct family decent. The Swete family are recorded at Traine in Devonshire from the late 15th century and the arms depicted are still displayed above the entrance to Traine Walk, Brownston Street, Modbury, Devon. This bottle and the following bladder wine bottle were discovered at Traine House shortly before it's sale in 1967.

A group of three small wine glasses or cordials: comprising an air twist with square bucket on a straight stem containing a double series corkscrew twist on a conical foot, circa 1750-60, 15.5 cm high; an opaque twist with ogee bowl set on a straight stem containing a lace twist on a conical foot, circa 1760-70, 15 cm high and a further opaque twist set on a straight stem containing a double series of a central pair of tapes inside an 8 ply spiral on a conical foot, circa 1760-70, 14.5 cm high.
A group of three small wine glasses: an opaque twist with ogee bowl engraved with fruiting vine and a bee set on a straight stem with double series opaque twist comprising a central 14 ply tape flanked by a further pair of similar tapes on a conical foot; [slight chip to foot]; an opaque twist with ogee bowl cut with a meander of flowers and foliage on a straight stem with double series opaque twist comprising a central gauze within a pair of narrow tapes, on a conical foot, together with an opaque twist with ogee bowl set on a straight stem containing a multiple series opaque twist of a pair of multiple ply tapes, two narrow tapes and a single air twist on a conical foot, all circa 1760-70, all 15 cm high.
A suite of Moser drinking glasses, fine hobnail cutting to the bodies between bands of lens and vertical mitre cuts, on slice cut stems or bases, the rims of tooled and carved foliate gilding in the Renaissance style, including wine glasses, water glasses and sherry glasses, acid marks to base, 19.5cm high (12)
