A sarcophagus shaped Regency mahogany zinc lined wine cooler standing on paw feet, 62cms widen 53cms high, 46cms deep approx 33cm - 57cm. In original condition, faded to one side, small piece of edging veneer missing at the back, approx 2.5cm missing. No repairs, no warping all joints are good, no woodworm damage etc
A Victorian mahogany wine cooler standing on lion paw feet 73cms wide, 55cms deep, 58cms high internal dimensions are 35-64cm, a large piece is missing from the front filled with putty. There is a crack in the top - side to side. Original surface and polish is still there and condition is ok. All joints are fine. It is finished to the same standard all over. No woodworm or warping. Inside of the top is a crack

COMMEMORATION WINE GLASS, KING WILLIAM/ BATTLE OF THE BOYNE ENGRAVING LATE 19TH CENTURY, GLASS POSSIBLY EARLIER the conical bowl engraved with King William on horseback, with inscription THE GLORIOUS MEMORY OF KING WILLIAM/ NO SURRENDER/ BOYNE 1ST JULY 1690/ T.C.S.C, on a knopped stem and folded foot 15.5cm high Note: It is thought that this glass marks the bicentenary of the Battle of the Boyne, and was engraved by Franz Tieze (1842-1932) whose initials are inscribed on the bowl. He was a Bohemian-born engraver who worked in the flint glass factory of the Pugh Brothers in Dublin from 1865 to 1910, although he also engraved 18th century wine glasses.
