Two 18th century English wine glasses, comprising a double series opaque twist, 16cm high, (chip to footrim and bruise to rim); and a faceted stem example, 15.5cm high, (foot reshaped); together with another Continental opaque twist example, 15.5cm high. Condition Report: 1. Chips to fluted foot rim.2. Bruise to top rim (largest).3. No visible sign of chips or cracks seen.
A Victorian blown glass wrythen decanter with silver rim (by Heath & Middleton, Bimingham, 1895), together with a set of 36 cut glass drinking glasses, including red wines, white wines and water CONDITION REPORTS The stopper on the decanter is dirty. The silver mount is tarnished and the bottle itself is in need of a clean and has some staining to the interior and clouding to the base as well as various chips predominantly around the bottom edge. The suite comprises twelve red wine, twelve white wine and twelve water glasses. One water glass has some damage to the edge although unsure if this is chipping or done during production as it is smooth. A couple of the others have very small flaws otherwise general wear conducive with age and use to include some internal bubbles. In need of a clean, surface scratching etc.
A burr oak wine rack in the 19th Century manner, the top cross-banded and with moulded edge over two drawers and a 64 bottle rack, raised on a plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Light scratch to the top. Some further light scratches, scuffs and marks. Generally however, in good condition. Very light signs of wear and tear. Approx 90 cm wide x 115.5 cm high.

Bound with 'Every Man his own Brewer, a Practical Treatise explaining the Art and Mystery of Brewing Porter, Ale, Twopenny, and Table-Beer', by Samuel Child, Brewer, no date but c.1810 according to WorldCat. The book features a handwritten recipe to verso of final index page. 8vo full calf binding. Together with 'Tables to be used with Sikes's Hydrometer', for ascertaining the strength of spirits, issued under the authority of H.M. Customs and Excise, 1916, original cloth binding, 8vo.
