Chips and losses to flowers and flower basket.
A George III silver wine funnel, John Emes, London 1798, of typical plain polished form with reeded rim enclosing pierced liner, engraved monogram and cockerel crest, weight 3.9ozt, 14cm high CONDITION REPORT: Marks rubbed and worn, engraved initials and crest, tip of funnel creased and partly gone, numerous dents throughout, surface scratching and wear. Liner dented and scratched.
An 18th century green glass wine bottle with moulded seal to front 'James Okes Bury 1777' - with string collar and mallet form with deep set base, 27cm high (at fault) Note: James Oakes (1742-1829) was a prominent businessman and banker in Bury St Edmunds who is famous for his diaries which he kept from 1778 to 1827 which give an invaluable insight into his social and business dealings. CONDITION REPORT: Burst surface bubble to the side, large star crack to the reverse extending to the front and extending around the badge at the front and to a further star crack - see the attached images for further clarification of this.
