Newcastle - A George III silver 2-piece wine funnel, probable mark of Thomas Watson, 1802, baluster body with shell and foliate rim and shell thumbpiece, removable muslin ring, part marked detachable spout with reeded rim and three applied straps, 9cm diameter at the rim, 14cm high, 160.8g (5.2ozt)Overall in good condition with no obvious sign of repair. Some surface scratches and minor nicks and bruising as to be expected and commensurate with age and use. Funnel and ring both a good fit. Hallmarks with minor wear but still readable. Spout with very minor distortion but no splitting.
