An unusual Famille-Rose wine pot and cover, the rectangular section body moulded on each side with convex panels, the spout, handle and edges moulded to represent bamboo with leaf clusters at each corner, decorated on a gilt foliate ground with scenes of figures by a river, the rectangular cover similarly decorated and with replacement knop, height 7in (17.5cm), Qianlong period.
