Tall slender decanter with chips to the collar and the base of the stopper. Largest decanter and 2nd smallest with chipping to the stoppers. Jug and eyebath in good order. The glass from the biscuit box is good but the metal tarnished. Decanters early 19th century, bicuit box late 19th / early 20th century, eyebath later.

The Palm Wine Drinkard was reviewed enthusiastically by Dylan Thomas and was translated into French by Raymond Queneau.
