Hampshire Hog - Tommy the Hog by Catherine Knighton 165 cm long, 75 cm high, 40 cm wide, approx 20kg  Fibreglass with brushed-on layer of gel coat, finished with fire retardant/anti vandal varnish Proceeds to benefit St Michael's Hospice, as part of the Hampshire Hogs Trail Charity Auction This Hog is a tribute to the entrepreneurial spirit of Thomas Burberry, a former draper's apprentice, who in his early 20s founded the Burberry brand by opening his store 'T Burberry and Sons' in Basingstoke in 1856.  Wearing a version of Burberry's iconic gabardine trench coat, Tommy represents Hampshire's innovation and creativity. Sponsored by Gabardine Bar - Coffee and Wine by Design Catherine Knighton has lived, attended school and worked in Hampshire (mainly Basingstoke) for most of her life so feels she is an advocate for Hampshire. Although she is not a trained or practising artist she loves the opportunity to be creative and was very excited to take part in this fun and vibrant trail celebrating local history, culture and community.All hogs are sold as seen and have been outside on public display during the Hampshire Hog Trail

The dedication is to Robert Boyle.
