HESKETH, BARNARD CASTLE', engraved band at muzzles, dove-tailed fore-sights, standing notch rear-sights, colour hardened scroll engraved breech-blocks with fenced and moulded snails, screwed plugs, border and scroll engraved boxlock actions with radiused corners and retaining virtually full colour, scroll engraved hammers with sliding safes behind, blued spring-steel belt-hooks, finely chequered pistol-grip butts with moulded and engraved butt-caps with central trapdoors, scroll engraved trigger guards and under-ribs with captive ramrods with engraved pan-heads, both pistols retaining much finish and colour and complete in their oak storage case lined and compartmented in wine-coloured velvet (faded) and including a period powder flask, scissors mould, cap tins, nipple-key and loading rod.
