A George III mahogany wine table, with circular tray top, raised on a baluster turned column and tripod cabriole legs with pad feet, the top 11in. (28cm.) diameter, 21in. (53.5cm.) high.* Condition: There is a section of the rim around the top that has been broken out and replaced, this is a semicircular section 2 1/2 in wide at the top.One of the legs has been broken off in the past taking with it a section of the column base extending 1 1/2 in. up above the lower turned ring the circular ogee edged disc which fixes the top to the column has a section of its edge broken and reaffixed this is approx. 3/4 in. deep at the widest point.
A George II mahogany oval gateleg dropflap dining table, with a drawer in the frieze on cabriole legs with scrolled brackets and oval pad feet, 39 x 15½in. (99 x 39.5cm.), 44½in. (113cm.) when open, 27½in. (69.75cm.) high.* Condition: There are several dark wine glass stains to the top and a split extending approx. 6in. from one side towards the centre. Another in one leaf approx. 3in. long. A split above the rule joint of one flap, extending along the edge approx. 5in., and 1/2in. at the wider end. A crack in one end of the pad feet extends approx 2 1/2in. up to the leg but has not broken away from the foot. There are some old woodworm holes in the Oak framing of the table- these have been filled.
A closely matched pair of Dutch mahogany hourglass shaped theestoof (tea stove) or wine coolers, mid-19th century, the slatted hourglass body below a scalloped rim with brass swing handle, on a moulded circular base with three ball feet, 15¾in. (40cm.) high plus handle. (2) * A theestoof was a small stove, used to fetch hot water from the kitchen to the drawing room for the preparation of tea by the lady of the house. Originally fitted with a copper liner, burner and kettle, they are now often used as wine coolers.

Circle of Sir Francis Grant, PRA (British, 1803-1878) Wine tasting - Two gentlemen in conversation over drinks in a parlour oil on canvas laid on board 100 x 125cm (39 x 49in) Oil on canvas which is mounted onto board. There are undulations in the canvas where it is poorly adhered to the board. There are small losses and creases at the corners of the canvas. There are scattered areas of retouching which are matte and darkened. There are scuffs and scratches across the surface. The varnish is matte and uneven with spatters of house paint. There are large losses to the decorative surface of the frame.
