ENGLISH WINE GLASS, circa 1750, the trumpet bowl engraved with the Jacobite symbols of a trailing rose and butterfly, on a plain stem and shallow conical foot, height 16cm; together with another, similar but later, the bowl engraved with bees around a bee skep or hive, the plain stem with a slight air inclusion, height 15.5cm (2)

Pair of George III mahogany wine cisterns, on cupboard stands, the cisterns formed as urns with domed & fluted covers with pineapple finials, enclosing paktong liners, with gadrooned lips, waisted & fluted bodies & fluted & circular bases, one stand with three dummy drawers, the other with two pull drawers & cupboard, all with gilt metal loop handles, with crossbandings & satinwood stringing & reeded canted corners, raised on plinth bases. The urns 84cm high, 180cms overall height. Prov: Denys Wrey, 45 Sloane Street, 1969. (Partial sticker to the reverse of one cabinet that reads 'Curtis & Sons, possibly J.Curtis & Sons Leeds, illustrated) ConditionThere are areas of slight veneer loss and replacement, some trim is missing, The bases are possibly old additions and bases of the urns are possibly replacements.These Cisterns look good but will need some restoration and we advise inspecting them in person or sending a representative, We have added 50+ pictures to show all sides and areas.
