A Whieldon glaze John Voyez 'Fair Hebe' Jug,impressed to the fallen tree trunk 'I Voyez 1788', moulded in relief with a young man offering a bird's nest to a seated woman beneath a proclamation 'Fair Hebe', the reverse a man and dog with banner 'A Bumper to Bumper',25.5cmThe term 'bumper' was first used in the 17th century and referred to a large glass of beer or wine that was filled to the brim, ie. the liquid literally bumping against the rim of the glass.
A Victorian wine table The mother-of-pearl inlaid and chinoiserie decorated tilt top supported on a fluted column, standing on a quadripartite plinth base. 61 cm diameter. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, top and base probably associated, decoration possibly later.
A Chinese Canton enamel decorated vase Painted with precious objects; together with a Canton enamel wine cup; and two saucers with figural decoration and red painted seal mark. The vase 10 cm high. (4) CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, vase with rubbing to decoration and slight loss to enamel to foot rim. Wine cup generally in good condition with expected wear, loss to enamel to interior and small area of loss exterior. Dishes: one with loss to enamel, front and back, the other generally good, star crack to verso.

Gruaud Larose Sarget 1870 and 1874; Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste Saint Guirons 1959; Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou 1961; Chateau Beychevelle 1933; and another unknown Chateau or vintage. (7) CONDITION REPORTS: Varying level and conditions of labels.

A suite of Waterford Crystal in the Lismore pattern, comprising a decanter, 33.5cm, a water jug, 16.5 cm, eight glass plates, diameter 15cm, twelve hock glasses, height 18cm, nine tumblers, 8.5cm, six champagne saucers, 10.5cm, eight liqueur glasses, 9cm, six wine glasses 16.5cm, ten wine glasses, 17cm, six flutes, 18cm, nine flutes 18.5cm, twelve wine glasses, 15cm & twelve small glasses, 13cm. Of the total of 100 pieces, approx. 45 are acid etched Waterford.
A 19th century Limoges (possibly earlier) enamel painted oval plaque decorated with an early interior scene, after the Dutch School, depicting a Nobleman and his Wife in period costume, seated at a table, a servant pouring wine from a bird shaped decanter, dogs seated below the table, a cat beneath the gent's chair and a figure to the right side in a separate room, above a celestial naked female figure in clouds, set in original Ormolu surround (possibly originally in a larger frame). CONDITION REPORT: Enamel loss to lower right beneath servant's foot, four small drilled holes to top, bottom, left and right, otherwise overall very good colours and condition, in need of a clean. 20cm x 16.5cm within outer frame, 23.5cm x 20cm overall. CONDITION REPORT: One large glass with minor chip to top rim, otherwise all good.
A fine quality gilt metal and silver-plate engraved plaque late 19th Century The central finely engraved scene after David Teniers picture the Prodigal Son, a scene depicting a group of people sat round a dining table being served wine and food, with engraved inscription L'enfant prodigue dap tenaes and initials B.L.G.R, with gilt and engraved silver-plated bands, diameter 30.5cm. A pair of Sevres porcelain wine coolers from the Comte D'Aranda service, circa 1786, each two handled vessel painted with reserves of fruit and flowers within shaped, rectangular gilt borders, against a cobalt and raised gilt foliate ground, painted by Guillaume Buteux (1782-1794), the gilding by Etienne-Henry Le Guay (1751-1796) blue interlaced 'L's' and date letters 'ii', 10.5cm high, 11.5cm diameter (ONE WITH A FEINT HAIR LINE CRACK) These wine coolers form part of a service presented by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Pedro Pablo Abarca de Bolea IX Conde de Aranda (1718-1798) in recognition for his services as Spanish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France (1783-1787).
