A silver ogee wine funnel, maker's mark indistinct (over-struck), probably Newcastle 1808, with a gadrooned rim, a chased band of fruiting vine on a matted ground, the spout with a reeded collar and a rocaille band, engraved with a falcon rousant crest, 13.3cm (5.25in) long, 111g (3.5 oz) (lacking the clip). A George III silver canted-rectangular vinaigrette by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1810, engraved with leaves, a flower spray under, the gilt interior with a flower and leaf pierced grille, with a suspension chain, 2.6cm (1in) wide; an oblong example by Joseph Willmore, date worn; a miniature chick pin cushion, worn marks (probably Sampson Mordan & Co. post 1904 Chester); and a pair of George III navette wine labels by Susanna Barker, standard and maker's marks only (circa 1778-1793), with beaded borders, engraved 'PORT' and 'SHERRY', with suspension chains, 5cm (2in) wide. A 19th century Dutch mahogany tantalus, with applied moulding, having turned bone handles, fitted 6 square glass decanters with stoppers with gilt highlights, each with a gilt wine label for 'COGNAC', 'GIN', 'RUM', 'IRISH WHISKEY', 'CHERRY BRANDY' and 'SCOTCH WHISKEY', the lid with a pair of stem glasses, on turned bun feet, brass lock replaced, 9.75 in (24.8cm) h, 11.25in (28.3cm) w, 7.75in (19.7cm) d. Patches to reverse and left side, small chip top left back corner.
