A George III hallmarked silver wine funnel of plain form with cast rim and conforming bowl with strainer, maker's mark rubbed, London 1810, length 14.5cm, approx 4.4ozt (af). CONDITION REPORT: The end of the funnel appears to have some losses and dents, overall is slightly misshapen, has several dents, also around the base there are three bars, presumably applied later to straighten the construction, and there is one larger along the bottom, probably a repair of a larger split. The bowl with strainer also has several misshapen areas, dents and scratches.
A quantity of glass to include a set of four green tinted wine glasses with etched garlands, various other clear glass examples, a set of four hobnail cut glass plates, diameter 15cm, also two decanters, a centrepiece liner, an electroplated sugar bowl with blue glass liner, and a small group of ceramics to include a floral decorated footed twin handled bowl, a pair of "Famous Wrekin Ales" jugs, and a stoneware "Aerated Waters" example.
A pair of Regency silver wine coolers of Campana urn form with grape and vine decoration and fluted handles, each having Pitt family coat of arms engraved to side (possibly for George Pitt 2nd Baron Rivers 1751-1828), one hallmarked Benjamin Smith II & James Smith III, London 1809, the other Benjamin Smith II, London 1818, height 20.5cm, approx. weight 192oz Condition genreally good, wear to exterior to include worn hallmarks, minor marks and scratches, one handle slightly bent, a couple of minor dings to the interior part rims, generally tarnished and need cleaning.
