A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK with a 4½" dial, Roman numerals and chiselled decorated centre, the two train bell striking movement with silk suspension, the case with an urn finial, flanked by a classical maiden and a winged cherub holding a wine cup standing on a circular plinth opposed by an upright plinth supporting an urn and septre below the dial applied with winged lions and a classical urn raised upon a stepped plinth, centred with a roundel, stylised Grecian ornament raised upon a plinth and square feet each decorated with a winged figure, raised upon an ebonised plinth under a glazed dome, 26" high, overall 29"x26" see illustration.
