Dimensions: 3.25"L x 3"W x 7.25"HManufacturer: WaterfordCountry of Origin: IrelandCondition: Age related wear.
Wine glass, rounded funnel bowl engraved with fruiting vines, double knop multi-series air-twist stem, conical foot (indented), 15.5cm.Condition report:Possibly mid-to-late 18th century. No chips, some surface scratches to the top surface of the foot. There is a short length to the foot rim which is a little thin (adjacent to the collector's blue sticker seen on the additional images). We don't believe it to be a polished area, just a thin area in the making.
A wine glass, pan-topped rounded funnel bowl, facet cut stem, conical foot, 14.5cm.Condition report:No significant chips or restoration/ polishing. Some minor fleabites to the facet cut stem. The top of the foot has a 3mm scuff, near the base of the pedestal. Minor surface marks to the bowl. No clouding.
Wine glass, rounded funnel bowl, double knop stem with multi-spiral air-twist, conical foot, 15cmCondition report:Late 18th/ early 19th century. Very fine fleabites to the rim, and almost the entire rim has a little scuffing/ rougher feel. Likewise to the foot rim. No significant chips or evidence of polishing. MInor surface scratching.
Wine glass, facet-cut ogee bowl, triple thread multi-ply opaque twist stem, conical foot, 15cmCondition report:The facet cutting is very uneven with the heights varying quite markedly, and the lower angles varying quite obviously. Very minor flea bites to the facet edging. Stem and foot are ok. Minor surface wear.
Wine glass, of greyish metal, slender bell-shape bowl, true baluster stem under an annulated knop, domed and folded foot, 17cmCondition report:Some light flea bites to the rim and annulated knop. There is also a 3mm surface mark to the exterior lower bowl which maybe a post-production scratch rather than irregularity. Ok otherwise.
Late Williamite wine glass, of greyish metal, funnel bowl wheel engraved with an equestrian figure under a ribbon inscribed THE GLORIOUS MEMORY OF KING WILLIAM and on the reverse BOYNE 1st JULY / 1690, further engraved with initials, top and bottom annulated knops, folded foot, 16.5cmCondition report:No signs of repair, chips, or cracks. There is a black pinpoint inclusion just to the left of the King's face. The horse has a short horizontal line across where its eyes would be - we are taking this to be part of the engraving, not a subsequent chip/ damage. Various other random inclusions, imperfections, expected surface wear and scratching.
Wine glass, pan-top rounded funnel bowl, twin multi-ply opaque twist corkscrews, domed foot, slightly irregular, 15.5cm.Condition report:Quite a large internal bubble to the side wall of the bowl, distorting the surface as a result. No other chips or heavy scratches .random light surface wear.
Wine glass, of greyish metal, bell-shape bowl on a cushioned annulated top knop, hollow baluaster under, domed and folded foot, 14.5cm.Condition report:Evident annealing lines to the bowl, also some surface scratches to the interior.
