A Charles II silver sucket two-prong fork/spoon, maker’s mark ‘RS’, a mullet below, circa 1685, engraved ‘E*Y’ to the back of the fork end to the bowl, 13.2 cm (5.25in) long, 9g (0.35 oz). Literature: Jackson, 3rd edition, p. 140 for the mark on a sucket spoon of 1683 and a wine taster of 1686 Condition report** In good condition overall. Fork tines misshapen, mark fair.
