A dark-green tint sealed wine bottle, of cylindrical form, the round disc seal with ‘B’ beneath a ducal coronet and date 1837, 30cm high, re-used by John White & Co Leighton, 1904, contents unknown. The seal is for Richard, 1st Duke of Buckingham & Chandos of Stow House, Bucks. In 1837, Queen Victoria ascended the throne and celebrations were held at Stowe in her honour..
