A GEORGE III BRASS BOUND MAHOGANY WINE COOLER of slightly flared oval shape with hinged brass handles, on fluted stand with hollowed square tapering legs, zinc liner, 42cm h; 45 x 60cm When the liner removed the interior showing effects of longterm damp, the stand with some losses and repairs, probably original. Originally fitted with drum castors now lacking and the sockets plugged. The old zinc liner corroded and holed in a number of places

An attractive and rare example in fine condition
