Original wooden case.1 case (6 bottles, 75cl each).“A wine with beautiful aromas of currants and lightchocolate with hints of sweet tobacco. It`s full-bodiedand very refined with integrated tannins. "Château Lafite Rothschild 2002Pauillac. First Growth.Pristine condition. Original wooden case.1 case (12 bottles, 75cl each). The Wine Advocate April 2005, 94/100“A brilliant offering and a candidate for wine ofthe vintage, this is classic Lafite that reminded mesomewhat of the 1976, although the vintage conditionswere completely different. This is a medium-weight,quintessentially elegant style of Lafite with notes of leadpencil shavings/graphite along with black currants, plums, and crushed rocks/mineral. Wonderfully pure, dense, with a deep ruby/purple color and loads of fruit, definition, and a long finish, this is a brilliant, elegantLafite Rothschild that builds incrementally in the mouthand has more power and density than it initially seems.Anticipated maturity: 2008-2025.”

Lot 11

"Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry 2000Margaux. Third Growth.Pristine condition. Original wooden case.1 case (12 bottles, 75cl each). The Wine Advocate June 2010, 95 points“This estate, which has continued to impress me inrecent years, hit a home run in 2000. Showing slightlybetter than I rated it previously, this wine is deepbluish/purple with some lightening at the edge, and itsfloral nose displays notes of melted licorice, crushedrock, blueberries and black raspberries. A wine ofextraordinary balance, equilibrium, and purity, withsupple tannins, this medium to full-bodied, concentratedeffort is already compelling and has hit its window offull maturity, where it should stay for another 15-20years.”

Lot 13

"Château La Fleur Pétrus 1996Pomerol.Pristine condition. Original wooden case.1 case (12 bottles, 75cl each).Wine Advocate April 1999 89/100“This property has come of age with the acquisition ofLe Gay`s old vine parcel. It is now consistently one ofthe finest wines of the appellation, and clearly meritsis famous name. The 1996 may deserve an outstandingscore with a year or two of bottle age. It boasts animpressively saturated ruby/purple color, as well asa pure, sweet nose of cherries, plum liqueur, spicyoak, and floral scents. The wine possesses excellentdepth, medium body, superb purity, and an overallelegant personality offering a combination of power andfinesse. Anticipated maturity: now-2015.”

Lot 18

"Château Rieussec 2001Sauternes. Premier Grand Cru Classé.Pristine condition. Original wooden case.1 case (12 bottles, 75cl each).Wine Advocate June 2004, 99/100 points“A monumental effort, the 2001 Rieussec boasts a light to medium gold color in addition to a fabulous perfume ofhoneysuckle, smoky oak, caramelized tropical fruits, creme brulee, and Grand Marnier. The wine is massive andfull-bodied yet neither over the top nor heavy because of good acidity. With intense botrytis as well as a 70-75-secondfinish, this amazing Sauternes will be its apogee between 2010-2035.”

Lot 27

"Echézeaux, Dominique Laurent, 2008Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes. Côte de Nuits.Pristine condition.6 bottles (75cl).The Wine Advocate June 2010, 92-93 points“Comprising five barrels from four different growersin Poulaillieres, Les Treux, Grands Echézeaux, andEchezeaux du Dessus – but in total representing less thanhalf of the volume he produced from 2006 – Laurent’s2008 Echézeaux Vieilles Vignes features fresh rhubarband red cherry as well as singed, vanilla- and cocoapowder-tinged caramelized pit fruits and baked goods. The tension between fresh berry tartness and caramelizedconfection; between richness and vivacity, is uncannilysynergistic. A creamy richness of texture adds allureand underlying suggestions of peat and tobacco furthercomplexity. The finish here is ravishing and irresistiblyinsistent that I take another sip … and another. As winsomeas this is – especially for its vintage – it harborsenergy to take it through at least 15 years of excellence.”
