A 19th CENTURY BURR-WALNUT VENEERED FOLD OVER TOP GAMES TABLE, the rectangular top with rounded ends and moulded rim, lifting to reveal a wine baize lined interior above a recessed frieze raised on twin turned and fluted column supports, joined by a circular platform with turned stretchers and castors, 78cms x 91cms 46cms.

SEALED ONION WINE BOTTLE c. 1710? 6ins tall, maximum body width 6.5ins. Dark olive green glass, quite chunky tapered neck with applied string rim - chip to rear. Fabulous crude base pontil. Seal features entwined initials with coronet above. All over body patination & iridescence. An absolutely fabulous characterful piece - believed dug somewhere in Southern Ireland. (8/10) NR
Deltiology: a collection of 19th and 20th century postcards, mostly British, some world, both used and unused, some with stamps, and two postcard albums, one empty, the other with postcards from WWI onwards, some military, together with a French wine receipt sent 1866 from Chalon sur Saone, 20c 1866 stamp to front, an 1866 French envelope, an envelope addressed to the Bank of Scotland with red wax seal to back, franked and dated 1850, a Cape of Good Hope 1d, 1907, an envelope possibly dated 1812, seal missing and a postcard from the Congo dated 1902 with 10d stamp.
