2008 Jean Noel Gagnard, Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru La Boudriotte4x75cl2013 Domaine Henri Boillot, Meursault Premier Cru, Genevrieres1x75cl2014 Michel Magnien, Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru, Monts Luisants Rouge1x75clTotal 6x75clWhen looking at the photos of the Chassagne Boudriotte, Gagnard - the bottle with the much lighter looking wine has clearly been bottled in a different shade of glass that the Domaine normally use. This must have been a mistake at the bottling factory and avoided detection when bottled at the Domaine. All wines will be in the same condition and come from the same case. It is wonderful to be able to see the wine's colour in light glass, so we are confident in the quality of the other three bottles .
1947 Chateau Latour a PomerolT/SCork and Capsule in fine condition, detached label with very slight damage1x75clWe have left the label detached and only secured with a rubber band and tiny amount of Blue tack for the photoThis particular bottle has been stored in a Fine Berkshire cellar. Originally from an ex-chateau parcel from a renowned London merchant, purchased by a well known collector and inherited by the current vendor. Please contact the department for any further information. The bottle is available for inspection at LCB, Burton on Trent "I have been blessed to have tasted the 1947 Latour a Pomerol several times. Several times I have rated it a perfect 100. It is a colour with only some lightening at the edge. This exotic, mammoth, seductive, awesomely concentrated wine goes on and on in the mouth. It is reminiscent of a cross between the 1947 Cheval Blanc and the 1947 Petrus. Sweet, dense, and mind-boggling, what else can be said about something so perfect and thrilling. Akin to eating candy, it should drink well for another 20 years." (100pts WA)
